लक्षण: स्पोंडिलाइटिस खास तौर पर सर्वाइकल स्पोंडिलाइटिस अर्थात गर्दन संबंधी कशेरूकासन्धिशेध। पीठ और गर्दन के पीछे दर्द सुन्नपन, अकडन और खिचाव संवेदना जो बाँहों, अँगुलियों और कूल्हे की ओर जाती हुई महसूस होती है। न्यूराल्जिया अर्थात् संत्रिका शूल (नसो के समानांतर दर्द)। मासपेशियों का एठना, झटकना, फड़कना और सिकुड़ना। कन्धों के बीच में दर्द। चक्कर और सिरदर्द। त्रिकास्थि के ऊपर दबाव, रीढ़ की हड्डी पर आघात और गुदास्थि में दर्द जो रीढ़ की हड्डी तक जाता हुआ प्रतीत होता हो।
